WAYWARD GRAY
It was the anomalous feeling of intimacy and intrusion that jarred me. I can't think of many pleasant reasons for which you feel your slippers shuffling on an unlit dirt road at night.
UNDER A LID
I don't recall proper memories of the last couple of days, but I am somehow aware, conscious, of some of the circumstances shrouding me. Now the man pauses. It should be my turn to speak. I do have something important to say.
